I hosted my first telesummit in 2016, The Sizzle to Abundance World Summit 2016, where I brought together 12 thought leaders to share their success secrets and strategies. The interview topics focus on the fears that hold many entrepreneurs back from playing a bigger game and achieving true abundance.
An unlikely topic from a branding coach?
Not really.
Personal branding is my focus but when I work with my clients, it really comes down to personal development and growth in the end.
You can have the shiniest brand in the world, but if your mindset isn’t aligned with the person you say you want to become, you probably aren’t going to achieve them. When you’re out of alignment, there’s usually some fear that is blocking you from taking the inspired action steps that lead to success.
David Neagle says,
“The only way to ‘deal’ with fear is to shine a light on it so that you can see that it’s a lie and then continue onward in spite of the feelings.”
This is exactly the premise of my Summit. I wanted to address the common fears that hold us back as entrepreneurs so we could shine a light on them and move above and beyond them.
But here’s the thing: most people don’t see them as fears.
They’re usually disguised as excuses, such as “I don’t have the time,” or “Nothing works out anyway,” or perhaps a fear of having to give up time, or love, or a relationship if they step up to do what it takes to get to the “next level” in their business.
I’ve made the interviews available for purchase because this is important work that every entrepreneur needs to hear. I invited these particular speakers because I have been following them for a while, I recognize their brilliance, and each one has addressed the biggest fears that most entrepreneurs experience: asking for the sale, making decisions, public speaking, leaning into our pain, doing the work required, creating a long-term vision . . . the list goes on.
And each one shares their own thoughts about what abundance means to them. It’s not always about the money. In fact, recognizing the abundance all around you helps you to appreciate it.
